This wedding was different in a hundred beautiful ways from other weddings that I´ve been to. First, my daddy got married to his queen. Then the ceremony was set in Sedona, Arizona where they have a sweet vacation house, and the ceremony was in their neighbors backyard. This place is surrounded by huge red rock formations, unlike anything I´ve ever seen. It was on one of these neighborhood hikes in the rocks that Brian proposed, and Lorie said yes to being his wife. We also took pictures by Lorie´s favorite tree, with THAT view.

I will (gratefully) never be in this kind of situation again, daughter of the groom + photographer, it was too beautifully emotional! And in the middle of the ceremony, all of us kids stood around them while they said their vows. Soooo beautiful, I wish someone else could have shot that. At the same time, I didn’t really want anyone else to shoot them, I wanted to. There´s my complicated mixed feelings about that. Here are parts of the day, welcome to the family, here are some of the best people ever!

A BIG thank you to everyone who came and made my dad cry happy tears for a week straight <3
