In the middle of a boring winter day I opened an email from a Faroese girl that I didn’t know, asking me if I would consider coming to the FAROE ISLANDS to take her wedding pictures. To say the least, I was stoked for a looong time. So during Easter break Eimund and I got a plane going to the only airport in the Faroe Islands. When we flew in, my breath was taken away. Raw beauty. No trees. 70,000 sheep and 48,000 people on 18 islands. Perfect weather. A bride that sewed her own dress, a groom that took time to talk with us passionately about the expertise of whale hunting,( which we support of course) and more cake and hospitality than I could have imagined. Everything else was better than pintrest perfect.
